In 2018 the boat was delivered to Worton Creek Marina in Chestertown Maryland for a major safety refit. The hull was soda blasted, gel coat was sanded and resin repaired. The hull was barrier coated, primed, and painted with Petit Hydrocoat multi season ablative paint.
All shafts, struts, rudders, thru hull fittings, exhaust ports and trim tabs were removed. New shaft thru hull tubes were fiber glassed into hull and dripless shaft logs installed.
New cutlass bearings were installed in struts and hull was fiber glass reinforced where struts are attached. Struts were re bedded and installed with new bolts
Rudder shaft logs were removed, cleaned, rebedded, and installed.
2 New oversize rudders, and shafts installed.
Exhaust ports were removed, inspected, cleaned, rebedded and installed with new bolts.
Old Bennett trim tabs and fairing blocks were removed.
New composite fairing blocks were installed.
New Bennett trim tabs compete were installed with, new hoses, pump and pistons.
